12VHPWR cable for use with PCIe Gen 5.0 applications. When ordering this cable allow for extra slack on the bending radius of the cable as this connector does not do well with tight turns. The two sense wires are left unsleeved, but the main 12 wires are sleeved using MDPC-X micro sleeving. Please double check your power supply to see which connector you need on the PSU side, some older PSUs do not support the Gen 5.0 connector and require 8 pin connectors.
We use micro sleeving from MDPC-X on our 12VHPWR cables and colors are limited while Nils continues to expand production of this series. The link below is an up to date list of what colors are available in this size.
Although manufactures have opted to include shorter cables with SFX and SFX-L models, sometimes this is not enough to fit the needs of each ITX case. We have taken measurements from the communities favorite ITX case and tailored what we think are the perfect lengths. Each cable comes with two HEX series cable combs preinstalled.
We do ask that you fill in what Motherboard you are using as well as the PSU and which direction your PSU is facing, whether it be fan towards the side panel or towards the inside of the case. This allows us to adjust the base lengths and for the pinout of your cable.
