Hey guys! So we are waiting on our order of male connectors from our vendor but soon we will be offering a solution to sleeve Corsair Type 5 PSUs, such as the SHIFT series and SF Series.
The issue with these PSUs is they use a micro connector and terminal with does not allow for the classic sizing of MDPC-X to work with them. Our solution is to make an adapter that would go from the PSU to a full length PSU cable so you can have the full range of MDPC-X colors. Technically the Micro series from MDPC-X could work for these however due to the smaller diameter of the micro weave when used with a standard 4.2mm pitch connector your cables wire will look like they skipped leg day a bit.
Once we get our connectors in, we will have the Corsair Type 5 option available in the OEM PSU list. The price for each cable will include the corresponding adapter as well to make things less confusing. The adapters will not be sleeved but use our no print 16 AWG wire like our ITX cables use.
